As economies reopen and the hospitality industry relaunches, PEG Companies and In-Group Hospitality are acutely aware of a shift that is inevitably going to take place. This shift represents a new age of hospitality – one in which previously satisfactory cleanliness and safety standards are no longer enough. While the realities of the coronavirus pandemic may seem daunting to hospitality groups like ours, PEG and IGH see today’s challenges as a major opportunity to innovate, adapt, and lead the market into this new era.
Currently, major brand partners including Hilton Hotels Group, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels, and others are developing new sanitization solutions that they will soon introduce at their properties across the globe. PEG and IGH are poised to be among the first to receive and implement those guidelines as soon as they become available, while also enforcing our own in the meantime.
So, what are those guidelines? IGH President Graydon Pearson and I felt that it was important to share those with our valued employees and trusted partners. We recently sat down at AC Hotel by Marriott Salt Lake City, where 27 associates have recently returned to their jobs, to share our strategy for relaunching properties as local governments deem it safe to do so.
Watch the video clip below to learn more about what we are doing as hotel occupancies continue to rise, another positive indicator that the industry is beginning to bounce back.
