PEG Companies Prepares for Above-ground Construction on Highly Anticipated AC Hotel by Marriott Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – PEG Companies [“PEG”] announced the imminent commencement of above-ground construction this month for the highly anticipated AC Hotel by Marriott Scottsdale. Located in the heart of Old Town at 7117 E 3rd Avenue, the project is poised to bring a modern European-inspired hospitality offering to the area.

PEG reports that construction of the two-story underground parking structure, accommodating 147 spaces, is nearing completion. This significant milestone paves the way for the start of above-ground work, utilizing a prefabricated steel-framed panel system from Infinity Structures. This innovative approach will not only expedite construction timelines but also the reduce environmental impact, showcasing PEG’s commitment to sustainable development.

The AC Hotel by Marriott Scottsdale, spanning a total of 120,000 square feet including the parking structure, will feature 168 upscale guest rooms designed to offer unparalleled comfort. Guests will enjoy a range of exceptional amenities, including the brand’s signature AC Lounge and AC Kitchen, as well as a rooftop pool and bar offering breathtaking city views. Additional amenities include a spacious 1,000 square foot fitness room and a large conference space, catering to both leisure and business travelers. The main level of the hotel will boast a 4,000 square foot retail space which PEG plans to lease to a local business, further enhancing the vibrant community of Old Town Scottsdale.

PEG has partnered with a distinguished team of professionals to bring this project to life. Okland Construction serves as the general contractor, while architectural expertise is provided by Doug Sydnor and Gensler. Infinity Structures is responsible for the prefabricated steel panel system, and EDGEiD is the interior designer, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards of quality and elegance.

With an 18-month timeline slated for the remaining construction, the AC Hotel by Marriott Scottsdale is expected to open in Spring 2026. Upon completion PEG’s hospitality management arm PEG Property Group will manage the hotel.
