PROVO, UT – March 4, 2025 – PEG – a leading vertically integrated owner, operator and developer of multifamily, hospitality and build-to-rent assets in the U.S. and Canada – announced the appointment of Kyle Early as Managing Director, Portfolio Management. In this role, Early will lead PEG’s residential investment strategies, expand the firm’s investment product offerings for institutional and private wealth clients, and oversee the sourcing and execution of investments.
Early brings extensive experience in commercial real estate private equity and credit, with a strong track record in investment strategy, capital raising, and managing investments across the risk spectrum — from credit to opportunistic equity. His expertise includes acquiring stabilized, value-add and ground-up development assets, as well as originating bridge, construction and permanent loans across senior, mezzanine and preferred equity structures.
“Kyle’s deep expertise in both real estate equity and credit, combined with his experience working in vertically integrated organizations, adds significant value to the PEG team,” said Cameron Gunter, Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of PEG. “His leadership will enhance our ability to identify and capitalize on both short-term cyclical opportunities and long-term secular trends in the residential sector, ultimately delivering compelling investment solutions for our clients.”
Prior to joining PEG, Early served as Managing Director for Greystar Investment Management, where he launched and led the firm’s loan origination platform, developed its strategy and oversaw the sourcing, structuring, and execution of investments. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Vice President at Vanbarton Group, directing the firm’s Western U.S. acquisitions and loan originations. He was also a Vice President at CIM Group, managing investments in credit, core, value-add, and opportunistic real estate strategies.
PEG continues to strengthen its real estate platform with a series of strategic senior hires aimed at enhancing its institutional-grade offerings for global institutions and private investors. The latest addition, Mr. Early, joins a growing roster of top-tier talent. Earlier this year, the firm welcomed Andrew Kwok as Chief Legal Officer to drive new fund formation and lead high-stakes transactional strategies, while Russ Romero joined in February to head PEG’s newly established Institutional Solutions division. In Spring 2024, PEG appointed Garett Bjorkman as Co-Chief Executive Officer to help further institutionalize PEG’s asset management functions and lead the development of a broad array of institutional and private wealth products that utilize PEG’s unique competitive advantages.
“I’m excited to join PEG at such a dynamic time in the real estate market,” said Early. “The firm’s entrepreneurial approach, combined with its discipline and vertical integration, creates a strong foundation for identifying and executing unique investment opportunities. I look forward to working with the talented PEG team to expand our residential strategies and provide differentiated capital solutions to our partners.”
Early holds a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration from UC Berkeley.
