Franchise Prototype for New Generation of Buffalo Wild Wings® Opens in Bozeman

Developed by Utah-based PEG Companies, the 7,000 square-foot property is the first franchise design of its kind to open.

GALLATIN COUNTY, MT – Buffalo Wild Wings customers in Bozeman can now enjoy enhanced sports viewing, comfortable loungelike seating, and a more prominently showcased bar. This month, Utah-based commercial real estate developer PEG Companies [PEG] and PEG Capital Partners Fund III, LP opened the brand’s newest franchise location, a prototype for future restaurants across the United States.

The first new design for Buffalo Wild Wings since 2012, the new tech-infused look is geared toward cultivating the next best place to a sports stadium for watching games and hanging out with friends.

“Buffalo Wild Wings is all about creating legendary experiences between friends, and this new design was built to do just that,” said Lyle Tick, President of Buffalo Wild Wings. “We are giving guests the flexibility and freedom to truly be themselves and experience the game on their terms.”

The state-of-the-art design includes a more dominant bar that anchors the indoor and patio dining experience, all new fixtures and concrete flooring, free flowing and flexible seating areas, additional covered outdoor patio seating, and stadium-like audio-visual technologies with LED Jumbotron-inspired flat screens.

“As commercial real estate investors and developers, we are known for our boldness and creativity,” said McKay Quinn, the PEG Development Manager who led the project. “Because our three other Buffalo Wild Wings assets are some of our highest performing investments, it was a no brainer for us to help lead the charge toward taking the brand’s newest restaurant generation to the next level.”

Working with Dick Anderson Construction as their general contractor, PEG has built four of the seven Buffalo Wild Wings locations in Montana. The new Bozeman location took just six months to construct and is now under the operation of Billings-based Anderson Management Group.
