Job summary

The Vice President of Investor Reporting will ensure that investor reporting is streamlined across the organization and provide accurate and timely reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to PEG’s investors. This individual will also help manage investor communications and report on the overall organization’s performance at the company track record level as well as individual properties. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate all investor reporting at PEG in conjunction with FP&A, asset management, fund management, and accounting.
  • Manage investor communications as it relates to asset performance and overall track record, and other adhoc requests.
  • Work as part of a team responsible for the review of client reports for PEG’s various investment vehicles including SMAs, direct investment, funds, and etc.
  • On a quarterly basis, review and manage the asset reports provided by the asset management teams.
    • Review and organize fund reports.
    • Prepare, analyze, and review quantitative fund and portfolio company performance information for inclusion in investor reports.
    • Liaise with team members to determine correct quantitative data for reporting purposes and be able to understand portfolio company performance and fund valuation drivers.
    • Coordinate internal Compliance review and approval
    • Ensure timely distribution of reports to clients and relationship managers.
  • Manage investor reports on the PEG Investor Portal accessible by investors.
  • Review capital call and distribution notices to investors.
  • Coordinate quarterly advisory board meetings in conjunction with fund managers.
  • Organize the fund managers’ communications to investors including quarterly fund reports, annual letters, quarterly zoom meetings, etc.
  • Serve as a point of contact in connection with requests for information from relationship managers and clients (i.e., fund performance, capital calls, and other fund-related activities), as well as fund performance update meetings.
  • Organize, populate, and maintain the required due diligence information for PEG Co
  • Companies and each fund investment for external review.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience with report writing, investor communications and possess strong finance and business writing skills
  • 10 years relevant experience preferably with a hedge fund, private equity, and/or real estate industry experience
  • Motivated, have strong management skills, detail oriented, and must be able to independently solve problems
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and have experience with presentation of data to varied consumers
  • Strong communication skills and be able to successfully work together with external partners, internal business, and finance managers on a global basis
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments with excellent time management skills
  • Proactive team player and leader with a positive attitude, willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and get the job done, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Microsoft office skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Yardi Investment Management experience a plus
